Meet the team
Franco Varga is the co-founder and head of College Scouting Switzerland. He was a student athlete playing for the Menlo Oaks in California and the AUM Warhawks in Alabama. During his time in the United States, he won two championships and participated at the Nationals two times. Franco Varga was named All-Freshman Player and All-Academic Player as a defensive midfielder during his four years. Before his studies, he played for some of the best clubs in his home country of Switzerland. He was constantly part of the highest youth League in Switzerland U12- U21, playing in the 3rd highest League in Switzerland. At the age of 22, Franco Varga transferred to Auburn University in Montgomery where he started his own college journey.
Andrea Piorico is the co-founder and head of College Scouting Italy. Andrea was born and raised in Rome, Italy, where he played semi-professional soccer since early ages. After attending Marymount International School, he moved to the US and began his upper education at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, for which he competed in the NCAA Division II. After acquiring his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in 2013, Andrea decided to accept a scholarship offer at Rockhurst University (Kansas City, Missouri) to persevere his MBA.
